Join in the fun for Patterson Library's biggest fundraiser of the year. Our Annual Auction and Chicken Barbecue will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Eason Hall. Bid on an interesting array of items, including a new pressure cooker, basket bundles from local businesses and wineries, flatscreen tv, and a jet ski. Auction attendance is free, but the barbecue dinner is $12/ticket pre-sale only. Take a look at the flyer above.
The auction is the library's biggest fundraiser of the year. Fundraising and contributions from the community make up one-third of our budget. This is used to host programs such as musical concerts, chess club for kids, and computer classes for the public. It's also used to buy books and DVDs for our collection. Thanks to you, we've accumulated over 70,000 items in our collection and we hope to continue to provide outstanding service to an outstanding community.
