The Chautauqua County Historical Society will hold its 2019 annual meeting at the Lakeshore Assembly of God. This year's featured speaker will be author and Chautauqua County native Jacob Ludes, who will discuss his recent book, "A Thread in the Fabric: The Chautauqua-Erie Region to 1865" (2017).
The annual meeting gives Historical Society members an opportunity to learn more about some of the organization’s highlights over the past year. In addition, the event will also feature a luncheon.
The business portion of the annual meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a catered luncheon with a cost of $15 for anyone wishing to eat. The lecture will follow at 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Attendees are not required to attend the annual meeting or luncheon if only wishing to attend the lecture.
Reservations for the luncheon are due by Friday, April 19. Payment can be made the day of the event. To RSVP for the lunch, call (716) 326-2977, or email cchs@mcclurgmuseum.org. No reservation is required if only attending the lecture.
