WINTER STORM INFORMATION
With the upcoming winter storm, we wanted to send some related information. If you lose power, the Village emergency number is 716-792-7919. This number can be used for any other (water, sewer, street) problems as well. Please keep in mind that in a situation like this, they can be overloaded with calls, so you may not get through on the first try. Also, please make an effort not to call repeatedly once you have made contact, as that impedes their ability to take new calls. If it is a true emergency, please call 911. We will respond to outages as quickly as possible. Our first priority is to make the scene safe for the public as well as our staff. We prioritize our response based on public safety, number of residents impacted, and providing power to critical facilities such as the Hospital.
We are taking every measure to be as prepared as possible for this storm. Please be assured that DPW crews will be available and will respond to all issues. The winds that are forecasted with this storm are extremely high, even for our area, so it is hard to predict the potential impact. The very cold temperatures and potential snow make that problem even worse. Please make sure you are prepared for power outages. If you have a generator, please use it safely to protect you and your family, as well as our line workers. The Village of Westfield wants to make your bill payments as quick and convenient as possible. We offer an electronic payment service FREE to all of our customers. If you have a checking or savings account at a financial institution, you are eligible to participate in BANK DRAFT. Click here to fill out the form.
The Village of Westfield offers the convenience of accepting MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Visa credit cards for Electric, Water & Sewer Bills. The payment processing company charges a convenience fee of $2.50 for transactions under $100 and 2.65% for transactions over $100. Just click on the button below.
