June Brown Bag Talk: The Community of Prospect Station

Join us for the June Brown Bag talk presented by Chautauqua County Historian Michelle Henry. Michelle will talk about "The Community of Prospect Station." Prospect Station is a township in Portland, NY, and on Christmas Eve, 1872, it was the site of a tragic train wreck that claimed the lives of 30 people.

Brown Bag Talks are free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated. The talks begin at 12:00 PM in the dining room of the Fenton History Center.

Plein Air Painting with Katherine Galbraith

Come join Master Artist Katherine Galbraith in the lovely Patterson Library Pergola Garden as she works with you on learning the Plain Air method of painting. This is a two day class. Please call the library at (716) 326-2154 to register. The classes are free and open to the public, but you may have to bring some of your own materials. This class is made possible through a generous grant from the Tri-County Arts Council.
