Prepare for the solar eclipse at Patterson Library! Pick up glasses (limit 2 per person, so bring the family) and learn about the science of solar eclipses with our guest Josie Allen of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Then explore our open activity tables to build a pinhole viewer, learn about moon phases with Oreos, create your own art, become a citizen scientist by helping out with the NASA Eclipse Soundscapes Project, and more. This event is accessible for all ages.

The Day of Renewal program offers people impacted by breast cancer an opportunity to gather and learn new coping skills to help them navigate through their treatment and survivorship. This free program will present hands-on workshops for therapeutic arts, floral arranging, and reiki. Lunch is included and each attendee will receive a gift bag, flowers, and their artwork.
