Memorial Day Parade

On Monday, Memorial Day, there is a lowering of the flag at 7:30 AM in Moore Park. At 8 AM there is a Naval and Maritime observance at Dan Reed Pier. At 8:30 AM a ceremony takes place at St. James Cemetery and then another ceremony at Union Cemetery at 9 AM The Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:30 AM (assembly at 10 AM) from Moore Park down Main Street to the cemetery on Academy Street with a short service at 11 AM The raising of the flag is at noon in Moore Park. Both the America Legion and VFW have an open house after the service honoring our military heroes.

Wine & Dine Chautauqua

For the second year in a row the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau and the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to partner on a major event. Wine & Dine Chautauqua will incorporate the Chamber’s traditional Grape Expectations wine tasting event and the Visitors Bureau Annual Dinner meeting, to be held back to back on Friday, May 10 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Dunkirk.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Boy Scout Troop 201 are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on May 4th! Get your tickets from any Scout or at the door. Includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, and a roll. Take out is available! There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

Held at the Westfield Moose Lodge #118

$10 adults, $5 seniors & children

Westfield Rec. Dept. Summer Program Sign-Ups

Come sign up for summer programs! Sign-ups will be held at Welch Field (inside the field house) from 6 – 8 p.m. This will also be a great time to ask any questions you might have, pick up pool schedules, field program calendars, and field trip permission slip packets.
