Open Gym for Toddlers & Preschoolers

OPEN GYM FOR TODDLERS & PRESCHOOLERS!

Calling all parents and caregivers of toddlers and preschoolers!

The Village of Westfield Recreation Department is offering open gym time at Eason Hall (23 Elm Street in Westfield) during the winter for our kiddos on Mondays and Fridays from 11:30-1:30.
They can come and run around, you can bring clean riding toys, balls, roller skates and other gross motor activities for them.

Friday Night Roller Skating

Skating begins for the 2019-2020 season on Friday, December 13th, with sessions at 6 to 7:30 pm for Pre-K through 5th Grade and 7:30 to 9:30 pm for 6th grade and up. We will have a special session from 5:30-6:00 p.m. for beginner skaters. Skaters are asked not to arrive more than fifteen minutes early for their session. Skating and horseplay in the street, on the sidewalk, or down the sides of the building are not permitted. Anyone leaving the building will not be allowed back in. Rough behavior, suggestive dancing and profanity will not be tolerated.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT 5TH GRADERS HAVE BEEN MOVED BACK TO THE SECOND SESSION FROM 7:30-9:30 DUE TO NUMBERS BEING VERY HIGH IN THE FIRST SESSION AND VERY LOW IN THE SECOND SESSION. WE THINK THIS WILL MAKE SKATING MORE SAFE AND ENJOYABLE FOR EVERYONE. THANKS!
