The Patterson Library Octagon Gallery presents photographer Lisa Schultz

"A Journey from Concrete to Curiosity" will be on view from October 25 to November 22,2024.
" I use photography as a means to find my inner peace. I make pictures that show the serenity and the beauty that is still in the world. My goal is to make photographs that allow others to experience a moment in time of complete silence. This focus keeps us in the present moment, it stops us from worrying about the future even if for just a moment.

A Retrospective: A Rural Artist's Journey. Audrey Kay Dowling
Keeping Artistically Sophisticated While Living the Mellow Life in the Country
Audrey Kay Dowling is complex, creative, and searching in her artwork. New materials, exploring new places, looking carefully at things to find nuances of color, textures, unusual combinations visually, including the endless visual variation of dance created by water as it moves and flows excites her. She works in many mediums, but focus on mixed media block printing, abstract painting and one-of-a-kind clay work.
