Tony Franchina III will heel you, save your sole and dye for you! At Tony’s Shoe Repair and Sales this three generation business stays busy. Tony III works in his shop with his father and his college sweatheart, wife, Jackie. Tony learned his craft from his father, Tony, and he has just trained his cousin Jason Passinger. Tony and Jackie have two daughters, Emily is the eldest and Elizabeth the youngest. His sisters, Lori and Amy and loving mother Terry make this family complete. They make Westfield their home with several acres out on Route 20 where in the summer Tony and his daughter compete to see who gets to drive the tractor lawn mower!
Tony and his family work hard but they do find time for family, friends and outdoor sports. They enjoy hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, camping and boating. Tony’s affiliations speak of his interests, he is a member of the Westfield Fish and Game Club, an NRA life member, Westfield Moose, the Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club and the Westfield Barcelona Chamber of Commerce which is a branch of the Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce.
Much of the retail part of the business is indicative of these interests. You can find new shoes and boots as well as get repairs on these and many more items such as boat covers and jacket zippers! Tony’s carries a great line of work boots with safety toes, orthopedic shoes, hunting boots and others. He also has a great supply of work jeans, seconds at fabulous prices. You can have Tony make customized shirts and jackets for you as well, great for businesses and families.
Tony is a long time member of the Chamber of Commerce because he believes it helps to promote business and bring more business to Westfield Barcelona. In June be sure to check out Tony’s Shoe Repair and Sales when they put out their entry in the Westfield Fish 2018 project, designed to bring business and visitors to our town and village.
Tony enjoys the feeling of a small community, his customers, our good schools, the four seasons and our many great businesses. Parking is an issue for his store but that is being addressed.
