Patterson Library Annual Auction & Chicken Barbecue

Have a penchant for a great antique or a sweet tooth for an amazing dessert of the month? Look no further than Patterson Library’s annual auction and chicken barbecue, which will be held from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at Eason Hall. This annual auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year! We are so excited to bring you tons of baskets and items to bid on in our silent auction, wonderful bigger ticket items in our live auction, and some new categories of fun, including a “wine cork pull”, and individual or group/business sponsorships of story times throughout the calendar year. 

Annual Welch Carnival

*FREE TO THE PUBLIC

Join us on Wednesday, July 31st from 1-5 pm for our annual "Welch Field Carnival" at Welch Field in Westfield.

We will have a variety of games, music, prizes, refreshments, bounce houses, human checkers, face painting, musical cones, water balloons and our "kiddie car wash" and a dunk tank! The carnival is for kids of all ages, but they must be at least 8 years old to attend by themselves.

The carnival will be from 1-5 in the afternoon. In case of rain, we will do the carnival the next day on Thursday, August 1st.

36th Annual Tour of Chautauqua Bicycle Ride

Join hundreds of riders for the largest and best century ride in Chautauqua County!

TOURS: You may choose to ride any one of the five tours. The 25 mile tour follows the Lake Erie plain. Antique shops, restaurants, and wineries are on this tour. The 40, 62 (100 KM), 75 and 100 miles tours feature a variety of flat roads, hills, lake views, small towns and scenic areas of Chautauqua County.
