2021 YOUTH FISHING DERBY

On Saturday, August 7th, the Westfield Fish & Game Club hosted the Youth Fishing Derby with help from the Westfield Recreation Department. The weather was beautiful, and we ended up with 30 participants and their family members. Almost everyone caught at least one fish.

Farmers' & Artisans' Market

Every summer Saturday, shoppers find locally grown produce, fresh eggs, pork, beef, chicken, honey and maple syrup, jam, jelly, and baked goods. Rounding out the offerings are Amish baskets, locally produced salsa and dressings, handmade clothing, purses, throw rugs, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, craft items and the published literary works by local authors. Prepared foods suitable for breakfast and lunch and hot and cold beverages are also available.

FALL REC SOCCER SIGNUPS

Registrations for Fall Local Rec Youth Soccer for area boys and girls in grades Pre-K through 6th grade will be held in the field house at Welch Field in Westfield on Wednesday, August 11th and Thursday, August 12th from 6 to 8 p.m., as well as Saturday, August 14th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be three different grade groups: Pre-K & Kindergarten, 1st-3rd grades and 4th-6th grades.
