November meeting of the Westfield Senior Citizens at the YWCA at noon. All seniors 50+ are invited. A light lunch will be provided. The discussion topic will be the challenges of daily living, elder law and justice.

Dept. to have so many wonderful people who do and have volunteered their time both now and, in the past, to make our department and programs/events what they are today. We want to say THANK YOU! Our adult corn hole league will be returning soon! For the 2021 fall season, we will have a six week session. The first session will start on Wednesday, November 3rd and will run for six weeks ending on Wednesday, December 15th (there will be NO session on Wednesday, November 24th) . The next session will start in February. Matches will be held at Eason Hall in Westfield from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights.
YOUTH BASKETBALL SIGNUPS
Registrations for local youth basketball for area boys and girls in 1st through 6th grades will be held inside the fieldhouse at Welch Field in Westfield on Tuesday, October 26th, Tuesday, November 2nd, and Thursday, November 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, October 30th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. There will be three different grade groups: 1st & 2nd grades, 3rd & 4th grades, and 5th & 6th grades. The 1st & 2nd grades will be co-ed and the older groups will be separated boys and girls.
October meeting of Westfield Senior Citizens at the YWCA. COVID protocol will be followed. Light lunch provided. Speaker is Judy Wroda from Southwestern Independent Living Center. Her topic is "Turning 55 from a child's perspective". Halloween BINGO will be played with prizes and gift bags. There will be a Halloween sing-a-long as well. In place of a regular meeting agenda there will be a discussion on the future of the organization. Bring suggestions and ideas!

Leaf pickup in the Village of Westfield begins on Monday, 10/28/24, in Area 1 and will proceed as follows: Tuesday, 10/29 - Area 2; Wednesday, 10/30- Area 3; Thursday, 10/31 - Area 4 and Friday, 11/01 - Area 5. And will continue as follows until 12/06/2024 or until snow obstructs the pickup.
