Unplugged in the Middle of the Field is a variety show performed at the Jacqueline Phillips Theater at Lake Shore Center for the Arts in Westfield. Your hosts Hans Mueller, a store keeper, and Floyd Kowalski, owner operator of the local Texaco Station, interview interesting local people about their lives and interests. The "Lit Lady" shares literature and humor, The Unknown Comic will delight your funny bone with one liners. Musical performers from the area share their talents and there is a segment about cooking or other craft.
Lake Shore Center for the Arts presents a FREE movie each month on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
In addition to the movie there are newsreels, cartoons and music appropriate for the time period of the movie. The movie in March is Charade from 1963 starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. This movie is a classic and our intimate theater is the perfect place to view it.
