BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW IS SCHEDULED FOR:
MAY 28, 2024 FROM 2PM TO 4PM AND 6PM TO 8PM. EASON HALL
It is the responsibility of the Assessor to place fair and equitable assessments on each of the 4,200 parcels within the Town of Westfield. The Assessor records property sale transactions and administers exemption programs for senior citizens, veterans, agricultural, commercial and industrial properties.
The office of the Town Clerk is the nerve center of Town Government. This office performs such tasks as: preparing minutes of all Town Board meetings, issuing marriage licenses, fishing, hunting and dog licenses, operating as the Registrar of Vital Statistics (birth and death records) for the Town and Village of Westfield, issuing transfer station punch cards, handicapped parking permits, managing town records, responding to FOIL requests, acting as a Notary Public, and Town and County Tax Collector. This is a four year elected position.

Town Planning Board meetings are the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00 P.M. when needed.

The Town Government is run by the Town Board as the Executive, Administrative and Legislative body of the Town. All meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend.
