Village Treasurer

The office is located in Eason Hall and is open from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Some of the things we do: accept all Village electric, water & sewer bills; take village property tax payments; sell village garbage bags; arrange for utility hookups and turnoffs; address all electric and water meter reading concerns & functions; arrange HEAP payments; handle all utility billing functions; receive and process fines and tickets; and handle village payroll and accounts payable & receivable.

Q. When do I need to license my dog and what is the fee?

A. New York State requires that dogs be licensed at the age of four months. Every dog owned or harbored in New York State for longer than thirty (30days) must be licensed in the town, city or village where the dog is being harbored.

Rabies information and spay/neuter forms from your veterinarian must be presented at the time of licensing. Licenses for spayed/neutered dogs are $5, $13 if they are not.

Dog Licensing & Control

Every dog, owned or harbored in New York State for longer than 30 days must be licensed in the town, city, or village where the dog is being harbored. Town and Village of Westfield residents may apply for and renew a dog license at the office of the Town Clerk in Eason Hall. Owners will need:
