IEEP Insulation Program open to Westfield Electric customers
The IEEP is increasingly seeking ways to support customers in managing their energy consumption while improving grid efficiency. Insulation and air sealing can work hand in hand to save energy, money, and to increase the comfort of homes. The IEEP is pleased to offer a new, easy to use Insulation Rebate Program designed to assist residential customers in reducing summer and winter peak electric demands. Program highlights include:
 Insulation Program Incentive Details
Rebate Amount: Up to 75% of project cost with a maximum incentive of $5,000
Eligibility: Residential customers of participating IEEP/Municipal Electric Utilities
IEEP Pre-Approval: Required before work begins
 Eligible Measures
Attic, wall, rim joist, and crawl space insulation
Air sealing and weatherstripping
Duct insulation
Ventilation improvements
 Customer Process
Select Contractor: Choose from a list of BPI Gold Star Certified contractors. Find contractors at BPI.org
Scope of Work: Contractor/customer submits plan to the IEEP for pre-approval
Complete Project: Once approved work may begin
Rebate Submission: Upon completion submit completed rebate form to the IEEP
Quality Assurance: IEEP will inspect a percentage of completed projects
